Only the first 6 songs (28 minutes) have ever circulated in collectors circles on DVD before now.

The only complete 1978 show thats been circulated is a 2-camera version from New Orleans, and its very hard to find that one in good quality.

I can't find it in the Complete Works of NZ.

Jagger sings that one REALLY well; with more melody and soul in it. That first verse is gorgeous. Even on the great 78 tour he often shouted the lines a bit; especially for the big outdoor shows.

Not too many camera-angles were used; and basically it's focusing on Jagger, and not the band...but still terrific.

Isn't the guitars are mixed a bit lower than the circulating SBD audio; or is just me ?

Wow. I'll actually be able to go see this one in a theatre. I've only managed to ever see At The Max and Shine A Light in theatres.

what a let down. heard all of these songs live before. IMO this was their worst tour. the sound sucked and the set list was not all that great( i was in anaheim for the shoe tossing incident)

these guys are starting to disappoint me. these guys have a ton of other material to put out. we get this crap. this Cd will flop like a whale out of water.

OK, this release will not be in twentyfirstcentury-HD etc. It's a documentary. For that I love it. And it would be great for any fan to get some more of these material.

You ae right, this stuff is not "first class". If it was, The Rolling Stones would have released it long before.

But now, in the evening before their great golden jubilee, it is a good time to bring such stuff up to bright daylight.

And btw: The Eagle seems to be the company to bring up all those Rolling Stones b-movies ...

And I'm glad, they'll do this!!!

Actually this CD can´t flop....it´s basically a DVD and Blu-Ray release,with the CD included in a special edition.
And instead just ranting you could point out what your wishes or expextations would be "these guys" should release...
