Maybe so but after watching the weak last installment I think the franchise has maybe run it's course Arnie or no Arnie.

He'd better start getting back in shape.

What happened to Terminator 4? How do they go from 3 to 5 without 4?

The John Conner in the last TERMINATOR-with-Arnold was such a goofy looking dork. Bizarre bit of miscasting. Why didn't they use Edward Furlong again? Maybe he was in rehab.

A great head of hair mind you. He should be cast as Brezhnev in a biopic.

Terminator: Salvation with Christian Bale was T4.

There have been problems with MGM selling the rights. At the moment I think nothing is moving on this. As Arnie was in Salvation cut and paste from the earlier films and CGIed there's no need for him to do any thing to star in the next one. T5 should be the finish of the war and end with the original prologue of T2, defeating Skynet and discovering the time displacement equipment and sending various terminators and Resse back.
