SuperHeavy - i like that brand new super group, no shit. There is a little bit of everything for everybody - a black boy, a supergorgeous blonde plumper, a wigged, tired grampa with the shades - this really smells like a global overnight success to me. It's true: This bunch has choosen a very appropriate name. However, I am not quite sure if the majority of the average, obsolete Stones customers could really ever get used with this great, winning concept.

Mick has constantly been criticised over the years for (alledgedly) only being in it for the money, then when he chooses a project with limited commercial potential instead of a lucrative Stones tour he gets criticised for that too... eye rolling smiley

I'm not sure if it jumped out at me on the first go-round but I will give it a couple of listens before rushing to discredit it. It could be one of those songs that at first you don't care much for but then you grow to like it.

Available now on i-tunes. Just downloaded it (the two mixes)

Wouldnt say its Mick's finest vocal performance by any stretch but overall a definite thumbs up.

The remix is heinous. The jury's still out on the "radio edit". It sounds like it might be good. Need to hear more ....

I didn't mind it...I hope the radio edit as more to it though, than the remix.
Sounded perfect for a club though.

At least give Jagger a chance. I'm sorry, but I can't blame him for not wanting to deal with Keith at the moment.

I have downloaded the single from Itunes. This was the first time I heard the complete song. It's a nice reggae song. It has to grow so you must listen to it a few times. It has also a nice summber breeze in it. Imagine you are on the beach and hear this song and in your hand a cold one...

I just find it boring and mediocre, like almost all music today. At least the mainstream stuff.

I'm not saying it's bad, it's not. It's well made, and not without it's merits (which you could probably say about most music, both today and in the past). But because I don't find it very interesting or appealing, I don't think it's all that good either. It's not something I'd go out of my way to buy or even listen to a second time.

I'm not a fan of any of the people involved, except for Mick. And except for a couple of things, I've never been very interested in his music outside of the Stones. I'm thinking there's really nothing in this whole Super Heavy thing for me. It's looking as though it's not horribly bad, just not my cup of tea. Which is what I expected.

And knowing the truth about how they really got together, and how most of what Dave Stewart is now saying about it is bullshit since Nokia dropped out, isn't helping my opinion of the whole thing either.

This is ghastly, a weird combination of musicians - most of whom should know better. This will be such a flop thank god and make Jagger realise he will never do anything succesful without Keith and the boys.

Be ok if it was played in a lift (an elevator to you lot from over the water!) otherwise bin it.

I think its really good.

Nice to see one of the Stones being inventive.

Just hope KR can keep his 'witty' comments to him self....

i´m really looking forward to whole project. i like it when to stones put in some multicultural influences like in continental drift or can you hear the music or even paint it black. so mick had to chance now, to go some new musical ways. the problem is with his actual singin´ IMO that he´s some kind of overacting with his voice. first i recognized it in plundered my soul (where i get used to his singing and now i love it) then watching the river flow and now miracle worker. i think he´s trying (after the big succes of the exile reissue) to sound like on exile or younger and more aggressive then his is. i like his lower key, darker key singin a lot more like on love is strong for example (in his later years). i think it´s no problem to admit, that he can´t sing the same style authentacly like when he was 20. and i think on miracle worker it would fit a lot better when his voice sound more relaxed. i mean it´s a reggae tune...

excuse my bad english
