Chalie will change his drum kit?

Do you think that Charlie might change his drum kit if the Stones happen to go out again? He´s been playin a couple of different kits with his current band.

Another question is : he always uses the same drum kit from the tours for recordings?

And is he using his UFIP cymbals with with his actual band or he uses other cymbals?

Hell, now you are getting to the bottom of the barrel ! It might have been more interesting to speculate if Charlie will change his underwear ...eye rolling smiley

I damn sure hope he'll change his underwear.

Couldn't care less about the kit as long as Charlie is playing it.

Charlie does not use underwear.
The kit is very important for the overall sound of the band. Its just like Keiths guitars....

As Charlie has been using the same kit as his main kit since 1978(?), I guess it's not going to happen IF the Stones hit the road again. But he has been changing his snare for every tour, so there could be a change there.

The discussions on Charlie's drum kits in this thread might eventually be of interest to the drummers on this board :-

Sure, he'll go from his usual four piece kit to that massive thing that Terry Bozzio was hauling around with Jeff Beck about a decade ago. eye popping smiley

The ABCD Boogie Woogie Drum Kit is the one from Axel Zwingenbergers (Piano) Brother. It´s not Charlies Set.
