Same here, I find it offensive as well, has nothing to do with being politically correct.

IMO, Jagger and Bowie set out to make the video as camp as possible. Us Brits have always had this great tradition - from Kenneth Williams to Alan Carr.

I read Billy Squier recently say that video above made for the biggest hit of his career. But it also killed his career because all his earlier fans thought of him as a guitar god, and that video totally turned them off and they abandoned him. So a big hit that killed his career.
