Nice band. The first one was really good. The second one that you show is good, but still a bit less solid than the first one.

The first album was awesome, the second was a stinker.

Stockdale really shouldn't have continued without the rest of the band.

Great band!I saw them in Australia at BIg Day Out right after their first album was released. LOVED IT! The second album isn't that bad! Come on! Not a stinker, but not as catchy as the first one. Stockdale is the heart of the band as the primary writer and singer and guitarist. I saw them recently in Indonesia and they put on an astounding show!

But the band had a sound, a unique sound. They don't have that anymore, imo.

Woman
You know you're a woman
You got to be a woman
I got the feeling of love

When you're talking to me
You see right through me
I got the feeling of love

She's a woman
You know what I mean
You better listen
Listen to me
She's gonna set you free

the person responsible for those lyrics should be fined and imprisoned.

You don't debase the man you just your ignorance here...
Wf is just another band pushed to the front by record excs to sell the "70's sound" to teenagers born in the 90's...
But fortunately the scam only worked for the time of one album and one tour...

Mike Patton has been around for awhile. Wolfmother, on the other hand, will not.

Another Zeppelin / Deep Purple wannabe. No roll, no swing.

Mr dcba, just because someone doesnt follow you musical taste, doesnt make them ignorant. The majority of all new bands copy someone else, dont you realize the me generation invented everything. What would you have said about all the British bands in the early sixties, nothing new just copying American music. Even Dylan was copying Woodie Guthrie and other Folk singers.

To each his own. Sure they are retro, but fun as hell, and great to see young folks getting into the spirit of 70's hard rock. They are still very popular in Australia and tour to large crowds worldwide...and they are fun as hell live.

Yeah as an Aussie I tried to get into them...but just find his voice too grating after a while

Yeah he has a banshee wail of a voice a mix between Ozzie, Plant and Anderson.

What do you think of Jet champ, they are just as retro and dont mind borrowing a riff or three.
