Would Keith freak out like with Mick's knighthood? Would Charlie's fear of Keith's reaction make him turn it down? Did Keith's reaction to Mick's knighthood sabotage the chances Buckingham Palace might offer one to Charlie?

What Keith doesn't realise is that he is now the "establishment" that he has so called been railing against for the last 50 or so years. I mean for f888s sake even Johnny Rotten is part of the "establishment" with his butter commercials!!

I personally think that Charlie should receive a knighthood as his interests and influence are far broader than that of his band mates......and he is apparently by all accounts a gentleman.

The only thing I could see Keith getting upset about in this case would be the fact that The Pope didn't step in and have it upgraded to a Sainthood.

It's generally given for charity work. As is the case with most celebrities.

Mick's was an exception - it was given for 'services to music'.
