Wow, that was a cool song. Never heard Montrose before. I was *not* a fan of Van Hagar - when David Lee left, he must have taken all their melodies with him. But Hagar seems like a nice guy.

Yeah, and I remember him on that "Celebrity Ghost Stories" show, talking about being visited by his late, severely alcoholic father.

Montrose also did a very nice cover of Connection.imo

I was thinking of going to his book signing as well....and I was at that Winterland show. Was that the one where he opened for Dave Mason?
