What version of LA Forum 7-13-75 is the best one to get for sound quality? I'm trying to build up my collection from 75. I heard Who Went To Church This Sunday is awesome. Is this the one to go with?

Maybe its the classic VGP bootleg,LA Friday.

Who Went To Church This Sunday is an amazing bootleg - get it. I got it back in the day on a Bi-Centenial Boxset on red, white and blue vinyl. It has one of the best versions of Jumpin' Jack Flash ever.

Recorded on the 10th and 13th July if my memory serves me well.

So is LA Friday better sound or WWTCTS?

I have not hear "Who went to church this sunday" is it only from july 13th? or from 2 dates?

Because La friday is july 13th only,its better than just EX recording..

WWTC was originally the LP. I have it. It already sounds VG+ (if you have a good player).

actually the show IS from the Sunday, July 13th. Friday's show is best heard on a wobbly soundboard

some fond memories of listening to this show on vinyl waaaaaay back in the day....

That is wrong. July 13 1975 was a Sunday. I know this because my first Stones concert ever was Wednesday, July 16 1975 at the Cow Palace in San Francisco.

Pay attention to LA 9 july on "Welcome to the Chinese restaurant". It sounds very nice too. Great guitars. All the instruments are clear

The first one who made the mistake was D.Hoffmann in "Basement News" when he credited the 1975-07-13 show to a Friday (BN #12 p.23 "useful to complete the L.A. Friday show" ).

The VGP crew being AVID BN readers/fans they took their cue from DH when they titled their own version of this last LA. gig.
Hence the mistake...

Volume 2 of the trilogy was entiled "Charlie Watts & His Fabulous Rolling Stones" and Volume 3 was entiled "1975th Nervous Breakdown!" which included Luxury and Dance Little Sister from Baton Rougue.

So with the re-release of LA Friday was it upgraded?

Jagger wore black on that sunday July 13...as my pix will confirm....many of the boots advertise the sunday show and show Jagger wearing outfits from the other nights...making it even more confusing.... peterstupar.com
