How could I forget to add to my previous list of "Sins" perhaps the biggest one of all -

Jagger's sometimes-despised 1985 movie/long form video that goes with the 'She's The Boss' album. Yes, I like 'Running out of Luck'^

I have to admit to that one too. But come on though - the scene where Mick's trying to convince the shop owners who he is must be worth the price of admission alone?

I've only listened to the albums from Undercover until ABB (including the live releases) once. And that's more than enough for me.

Never understood the dislike for Indian Girl. But I do understand not liking Back To Zero. Then again there are worse tunes out there.

I bought a $100 ticket from a scalper in a nearby bar mens room to see the band at the Capitol Theatre, Passaic, NJ, in June of 1978...

I don't own any of the albums between the 1st one and Aftermath.

I don't own a boot of everyshow ever.

I can only afford one show per tour.

I like the Beatles, Bon Jovi, and the Monkees.

I saw the Stones in 2006.. I though it was great.. I'm convinced it was amazing..but from about the sixth or seventh song in I think i went into a bit of a daze.. not sure if because I'd rank too much..anyways I can't remember all that much...

it haunts me..

Do you mean the HARD WOMAN love scene or when she applies chloroform to her nipple?

1) I won't be able to finish keef's book
2) I hadn't heard several stones albums
3) During Keith's performing life, sometimes I wished he finished it fast.

I confess THEY'LL NEVER MAKE A SAINT OF ME

Yeah, Rae Dawn Chong! Said it on another thread but I really liked Running Out Of Luck, plus it had Dennis Hopper. So I guess I'm confessing that I like a b-movie.

Maybe it's because I wasn't around then, but I think the 60's are the Stones' worst period as far as the ratio of good songs to crap. They produced so many songs in the 60's that some great ones emerged, but the ratio of good to bad was dreadful. So I don't have and never will have some of those earliest albums. (I bought Rolling Stones NOW, ripped "Little Red Rooster" off it, and avoid the rest that sounds like five pasty-faced, pimply suburban English boys pretending to be a rock band into which they'd only later develop.)

I don't listen to pre-Satanic Stones ....since I discovered them.
I've never watched LSTNT since 82. So many.....
Oh, and I never actually purchased Voodoo Lounge or B2B or ABB...someone made me a copy.

Oh, and Gazza, I've never seen The Man From whatever Fields, FreeJack, or any of Jagger movies after Ned Kelly....

Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. It's been 4 years and 3 months since my last Rolling Stones concert.

I have had other Gods before them.
I have taken their name and their love in vain.
I have not honored Mick and Keith, even tho they are old enough to be my father.
I have coveted Mick's home in Mustique.

Well, I've never kept a dollar past sunset
It always burned a hole in my pants
Never made the school ma'am happy,
But I never blew a second chance

And one other thing . . .

I need a love to keep me happy.

But that's saying too much.

I love the early stuff for this very reason, but then I'm more of a fan of 60s melodic pop than I am Rock (you won't find much Led Zeppelin, AC/DC or Aerosmith in my collection, but you'll find nearly everything by The Hollies, The Dave Clark Five & Cliff Richard with The Shadows!).

I appreciate most of the music the Stones have made, but I'm only a die-hard fan of the 1963-1967 era, where I seek out every demo / alternate mix / live recording / video clips / etc.

I never bought Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed; partly because I didn't like the covers. I know what's on them, but I think they were generally not well produced; maybe that's what the covers told me.

On the other hand, I do have the vinyl single Little Queenie/Love In Vain that I bought in the early seventies. You hardly ever hear about that one; I wonder if it's ever been promoted.

I would have no qualms about skipping Ned Kelly, Freejack, Bent and especially that Faerie Tale Theatre cringefest 'The Nightingale' (what WAS he thinking??)

'The Man From Elysian Fields', however, I would like to see. I just dont think it got a release over here and I'm pretty sure its never been on TV.

- I only own a handful of Stones albums, with the "oldest" being "Still Life".

- I don't give a flying f**k about Keith's musical solo work.

- On the other hand, I think that Mick's "Wandering Spirit" is a BRILLIANT album.

- I love Scorsese's "Shine A Light" film to pieces.

- Most of my fave Stones tunes date from the 1980s, 1990s and Y2K's.

- One of my fave Stone tunes from the earlier years is "The Under-Assistant West Coast Promotion Man".

- I prefer "Steel Wheels" tour live versions of "Play With Fire" over the original studio recording.

- I consider "A Bigger Bang" a masterpiece.

And I'm serious, too! spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
