I could watch stuff like that for hours.

There must be some solo action coming up soon, why else would they bother revamping his site etc?

Jagger is great. Interesting contrast between watching this and the Stones rehearse.

Coo-hoo-hooool... I almost love that even more than the Grammy performance, without all the razzamatazz. Agree 100% with His Majesty about the solo stuff. Can't imagine he'd otherwise be reactivating the site and doing FB and Twitter as well. Must be getting back at Keith for his comments in Life about Mick solo... spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I really, really think this is what Jagger wants. This is how he would rather see the Stones: that sparse supertight Fender sound with the hi-snare, the choppy horns. And it is good stuffs.
Jagger was having a bad hair day.

thats because jagger doesnt like to look back at history,, and realize the better stuff was off the cuff, spontanus, rock & roll,,

not over dubbed perfection,,,

and live is not meant to sound like studio

Am I seeing things, or did it say 'Solomon Burke 1955-2010' in this video? Near the start of the video, big black and white text comes up on the screen. Obviously his birth year is wrong.

Other than that it's a great video.

Yeah, now that the Keith publcity tour is done. Mick seems to be putting his name out there a lot more lately.

"It's just some friends of mine and they're busting down the door"

Can't decide if I like the rehearsal or the actual grammy performance the best. But I find it amusing that some complain about being spontaneous and rock and roll.....as if no band has ever rehearsed. It's what you do. Especially on little played songs. Rehearse to put on the best show you can and no one does it better than the group we all love.

Much better than the Grammys live performance. He even looked more comfortable in his casual clothing. I prefer him nowadays with more confined movements.

I thought very little of the Grammy performance, but I actually liked this. They were more focused on the music, and not the choreography and everything else. I'm sure they worked on that some point too, or at least Mick did, but this is more about just playing the song, and less about performing an act.

As a result, Mick seemed much more natural, and less concerned with his over the top moves. I like that. I wish he would carry that with him to the stage, and stop with all the ridiculous histrionics.

Mick's harmonica playing in the blues jam in the beginning is tasty - I'd like to hear more of that... (I agree with some people here that recently the documents of rehearsals of Mick and The Stones have been more interesting than the actual shows. Somehow the natural musicality - without the performance entertainer manouvres - comes better better through.)

Hmm... I think His Majesty's observation might be on a right track. Quite a lot activity from Mick's camp lately.

Yes, i agree. Much, much superior to the grammy performance. Jagger can still pull off a decent version of the song when he doesn't allow himself to be seduced by spectacle. It is such a shame.
