do you have a back up band that you listen to when you need a break?

But I am hoping soon to hear a new Stones album..Hopefully not in vain.

I don't get bored, either, but I do like variety.

Yes I do! In fact I don't listen to them as much as I used to do. Instead I write about them on this forum! I guess my interest in the band follows the clock shape of the Gauss curve. So by now my interest has started to level away. But never left!

I really don't. I need my daily fix of stones music/IORR info. Some days the stuff works better than others but I always feel something. You say Stones, I am on board baby!

Thanks for the graphs, Joker! If you look at the blue graph you could place my level of interest now at about 0.8 on the abscissa. My interest kind of peaked around 1995 (0 on the abscissa, in my case). Where would you place yourself?

I have to have my daily fix too, but sometimes I just need a break. Still my favorite band! No one will ever replace them for me

Yes,i had 3 year break from them.Right after ABB tour ended august 2007.

I don't have that feeling of being bored with them but I often feel that I want to listen to other bands. Variety keeps the Stones music exciting I guess.

sometimes i go a week or two without playing a stones album but then i'll hear a song on the radio , tv or internet and go back and listen to more but back in the mid to late 80's i hardly listened to them because i thought the band was through and it made me sad to listen to them then steel wheels came out and i was back on board though it's far from being a favorite album.

i can't imagine listening to any one act or band on anything even close to daily basis. not with so much great music to explore and so little time to explore it.

I got boarded listening to the Stones and had to dump my supply in the ocean.

I listen to a Stones cd or two at least once a week, but I'd go crazy if that's all I ever listened to. As much as I love rock'n'roll, I'd be bored stiff if that's all I ever listened to, too..

I could never get bored of the Stones. They have so many boots, albums to listen to.

I like to listen to them by "Era", if I'm in the mood for Brian, I'll listen to 2120 S. MIchigan Ave or something equivalent, Mick T, I'll pick Sticky Fingers or Exile, Ronnie I'll grab Some Girls, etc.

They have so much style and their own genres, it's hard to ever be sick of the World's Greatest Rock N Roll Band!

I do have other bands that I love, basically every Rock N Roll band from the 60s/70s, 80's bands, I also love mellow 70's pop music, some country, some new stuff like Train, Maroon 5, so I'm always musically satisfied!

Absolutely! I listen to a little lounge stuff sometimes too. I've got a few compilations from the 'Ultra Lounge" series, the 'Crime Scene' one in particular is a favorite of mine (been a while since I listened to it, I need to dig it up.)

some great stuff on that series - i have them all - most are in regular rotation at chez tod. fabulous packaging....and those hidden tracks! every music lover should own this collection.

That's like asking "do you get bored of listening to music"? err nope. I don't listen to them everyday though.
