I think it's a go on all counts. The only maybe could be Keefs ability. And that might be a made up story. After all he's had those knobs on the fingers for a very long time. Not that I'm an expert on arthritis though.

I too think it's a go on all counts and that Keith's "inability to play" has been greatly exagerated.

1- Sadly, no. If you disagree, you either did not go to any shows last tour, you were not paying attention, or you are in denial.

2- I don't think Mick decides to tour based on his personal feelings for Keith. They are business partners, not buddies.

3- Of course. He is a partner in the Rolling Stones Corp.

4- No, he never does, but I believe he will do it anyway if it presents itself.

KR's problems are'nt on his fingers at all; i think his head is injured enough to explain his worsening both playinng + singing as well as a composer.

I am a hard KR's fan; but this old man is out of tune always. His fingers might be slower because of the pain, but playing out of tune has nothing to do with the fingers. His guitar language (licks, phrassing........) is getting poorer every time. Just listen the solo of SFTD in 1990 (At the Max) and the one on SAL.

He always says he wants to continue doing music and tours, but his solo career stopped near 20 years ago...............

His book writting skills are not brilliant as you can see in his book.

You guys... there's an elephant in plain sight which I, for one, have been loathe to acknowledge in the midst of all this "Will they? Won't they?" talk and that is:

The health of Patti Hansen.

She suffered, entirely in secret and God willing recovered, from a very serious and often deadly cancer. The world didn't know about it until after she was in remission and if it recurs I doubt there'll be an announcement. If it DOES return we'll obviously not be seeing seeing Keith, at all.

As long as you are cutting to the chase, from where I sit, whether the Rolling Stones tour or not, it's gonna have little to do with what Keith has said about Jagger in his book, and MUCH more to do with the economics of touring...If the economy turns around and people have money to spend, the probability of a tour increases. Regarding the Jagger & Richards relationship, if you have done your homework and read the vast amount interviews, articles & books published on the Rolling Stones over the last 20 years, one would realize that they are not the chums that they used to be and their motis operanti for getting together has more to do with growing their business empire and making gobs of money rather than getting together because they truly dig each others' company. unfortunately,the big obstacle that is getting in their way is time...
