Can Gary Moore's shoes to be filled? Yes, with Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman's Rhythmn Kings. Or that they did in Pistoia Blues festival 2003 when Gary cancelled his performance... (and got myself there).
I am in Spain till April and about 350kms from Estopona where Gary passed away.Looking at Spanish news tonight, but not seen any news on his passing. He will be sadly missed by music fans all over the world. R.I.P. Gary
I'm really shocked by his death. He was such a great musican in hard rock and also in blues rock. I'm glad, that I've seen him live on 'The After The War Tour' in 1989 (the last tour in which he performed hard rock only). It was a good concert.

Heard the news in the pub last night. So unexpected. Not my style of blues, etc., but a talented and creative guitarist. I actually know a lot about him as he was featured in UK guitar magazines so much. Very influential on up and coming guitarists and a good ol' tone monster who will be missed.
¡Que putada tios!! I loved this guy I loved his guitar playing in slow songs; sometimes he played like a shreder, which i did'nt like. But in the slow tempos, he was great as Greeny
Too early to speculate.Heart attack, choking on vomit have been mentioned. Also seen a story that he and his lady friend had a burger and a bottle of champagne at their hotel.Went for a stroll along the beach. He had a couple of brandys at the bar talking to a fan about music and then off to his room.Could be a while before the real story emerges.Great musician who had lots of differant styles will be missed.
