Why no movie about Keith???

Why is there no movie about Keith yet?

The lead role is obvious, I mean do I really need to spell it out:

It's Keith's son Johnny Depp.

Who do you think would be a good for Anita's role?

Someone should be Mick, if there would be scenes involving him...

The movie could span maybe 1965-1990 or something like that...

This really wouldn't be a movie about the Stones,
more about Keith as a personality and as an artist.

I guess that's a documentary which is a good thing also.

I was thinking more like a drama movie.

Possibly, you would need a couple of actresses to play Anita. I was thinking of Elizabeth Olsen to play a younger Anita...or with great makeup, maybe she could be transformed into an older Anita. She's a good actress and, it's a bit of a stretch, but she sort of looks like her in her younger days. If another actress would be required to play an older Anita, I'm not sure who would be best for the part. I'm sure there would be scenes involving Mick J., how could there not be in a movie about Keith Richards but, once again, I don't know what actor would fit the bill. Possibly Max Irons? Just a guess. The same goes for Keith Richards, you would need a younger actor to play him in the early days...Johnny Depp..is too old for that time period.

Perhaps Keith is not so important than you think to make a movie. And he is still alive!

Please no biopics about any of the Stones. Please.
A good documentary is a far far greater thing

Depp would probably be able to pull of the late 70s/early 80s Keith.

But, I feel the documentary Depp is making on Keith should be enough to satisfy fans (rather than one of those biopics).

Darken this kids hair up a bit and he can play Mick

I think he can sing, as well. I don't know, a Harry Potter kid playing Mick Jagger is laughable. Don't think Jagger would go for that; plus lately, Rupert has been looking kind of gruff and stocky. Not really a Mick Jagger type at all I'm afraid.

Yes, he is still alive (and I'm really glad he is) and usually these biopics are not made during someone's life but there is a movie about Bill Clinton for example and I guess other examples can be found.

I think the late 60s and the 70s is very interesting time period especially in Keith's life and a very interesting drama movie could be done about him as a person and about the rock scene of that time.

I don't know what Keith and his family would think about it, maybe they wouldn't like about the idea.

There is something about Harry Styles that reminds me of a young Jagger, would be a good choice if he wasn't so unclassy.

Harry Treadaway might be a good choice for a young Keith Richards.

Seeing a dramatized version of real-life people is like seeing a tribute band perform--it's just a facsimile.

But then, I'm one of those who prefer documentaries over dramatizations.

I saw the Oliver Stone biopic on The Doors once when it was out, over 20 years ago, and have never once had the desire to see it again.

However, the recent 2010 documentary When You're Strange, the one narrated by Johnny Depp, that's one I can watch over and over, and one I own on DVD.

Maybe the Deppumentary on Keith will be worth seeing several times over as well, maybe not. I know that I'll see it at least once, which is more than I could say for a dramatization, because it would always seem somehow incomplete, no matter how well done it might be.

What would be the plot of this film and how would it end?

You see now, I was going to say no movie has been made because people were afraid Johnny Depp WOULD play Richards, and I think the world has had it up to here with Depp right now. Shows what I know.

Basically Keith is not that interesting to the general public, they know he was a junkie, plays guitar for The Rolling Stones, and looks like hell, but thats it,so to invest millions on a movie about him,l don't think would be wise, not even in music has he done anything exciting in the last 20 years or so....
