OFFICIAL announcement please ..... not more rumours or dreams or recycled quotes from Keith's round of book promotion interviews. Not that I'm cynical or anything.

I don't wanna offend anyone, but to book a 20.000 capacity stadium near Dusseldorf would be pretty risky only four years after the ticket sale desaster in Dusseldorf (and Frankfurt, Hamburg, Werchter...). Especially with prices even higher, like it always was the case.

I imagine they get offers all the time- whether they actually agree to them is another thing.......

I also offered them to play in my hometown. Still waiting for a reply, but it looks very promisisng. I'm sure they will come!

Germany, left from Düsseldorf,Edith....city I lived for four years in the 80´s...
In case you move from Mönchengladbach further left you´re reaching the Netherlands very soon.

I think you were there last year,or am I mixing up something now ?

Nevertheless, despite the crap BILD is usually promoting, missing official tour confirmation, etc. one could remember the Stones played some desert spot near Oberhausen in 2003....( which is above Düsseldorf on the map...)

Yeah, I was in Amsterdam back in September.

Remember a country song from the 80s called Lukenbach, Texas?
It became fashionable for people to ask "Where in the hell is Lukenbach?"
They even had t-shirts with that phrase printed in the design.

Oh, never mind. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Good news.
That means consert within 6 months from now, and wonderfully smaller places where you can get closer to stage and the band. They should play Berliner Waldbühne like they did in 1998 and similar size places.
Let's make a list and post it on Keith's Facebook page.

I'm a member from Borussia Mönchengladbach.
At the moment we have a bad Time. We are on place 18 from 18 in the German Bundesliga, but we have 10 hurt (verletzte) players in our defence.

So, I hope we win some games and Cologne goes in the second Bundesliga smiling smiley

We have a great history, great Players and many many historic Games !

12:0 Borussia Dortmund 1978 (German Record) 11:0 Schalke 04 or in Europe 7:1 Inter Mailand or 4:0 Real Madrid

Many Football Fans knows about Borussia Mönchengladbach.

So we have a great Friendship with the best Football Fans in England Liverpool FC.

One Info about me
I life near Wesel (you can look at the card) work in Krefeld ...

So I think fact is the Stones plays 2011 in Germany/Europe

The Last Tours we see the Stones played in many Cities in Germany,
If they want not play in big German Footbal Stadiums we have other Good Location

01) Mönchengladbach - Hockey Park
02) Oberhausen - Arena (12000 people)
03) Cologne - Lanxess Arena (20000 people)
04) Dortmund - Westfalenhalle
05) Münster - Münsterlandhalle
06) Loreley - Outdoor historic Festival Field (R.E.M. plays in 2008)
07) Frankfurt - Festhalle
08) Hamburg - O2 World
09) Berlin O2 World
10) Münich Olympiahall
11) Frankfurt

So the Favorites are

Mönchengladbach, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg and Munich

Besides I can imagine it in Münster to play, because they gave 1965 your first concert in Germany there

You forgot Düsseldorf!

Esprit Arena: 30.000-50.000
ISS Dome: 13.000
Philipshalle: 6.000

p.s. SORRY BASTI, but I think Mönchengladbach is playing next year against Fortuna Düsseldorf in the Esprit Arena (2. Liga).
