Very happy for the Bruins, definitely kind of an anti-climactic game, though. Man, the Canucks just didn't show up. None of them did.

Back up to Boston,I'm singing in a barrrrrrrrrrrrr. Congrats Bruins. Nothing personal against Vancouver. Other than they are a rival of the Sharks . Plus I am very Boston friendly and like most of their sports teams. Except for those guys from Foxboro. But that's a story for another thread.

Happy for the Bruins, they were the better team by far, and the better goaltending by farther than that!

Congrats to the Boston Bruins. Only 110 days until next season starts.

Canucks fans booed Bettman with a passion. I thought that was very classless.

agreed...i'm from vancouver, like most people, don't like Bettman, but was embarrassed for my city. very poor sportsmanship.

What time is it in Boston?

18 past Luongo...

With the Bruins winning, that gives the City of Boston a championship for each of the 4 major sports in the last ten years.

I wish we could have just one.

Luongo had about an 80 percent save percentage in games 3, 4, 6, and 7, but he sure would have stopped that one goal that Thomas allowed in game 5. What a low-rent douchebag!

It's so satisfying, having lost the cup, to be able to have the largest post-game riot ever.

I'm so proud.

He may be low rent, but he makes $10 M per year, making him the most highly paid, low rent douchebag in the NHL, and probably hockey!

Congrats Boston Bruins! The Canucks must have taken the wrong doping pills before the match. Sedative ones apparently.

By the way: 10 million $ for tending a goal - it isn't exactly rocket-science! You can teach a monkey doing it and pay him with bananas!

Glad it's over. Time to melt the ice, put the skates in grease and take off those ridiculous shirts. It's almost summer for crying out loud.

From what I've heard reported, it's the first time since the foundation of the four major North American sports (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLcool smiley that any city has won championships in all four sports this quickly. Love the fact that I now will have Championship T-Shirts for the B's, the C's, the Pats & the Sox that aren't worn out and I can actually remember the games!

Regarding the riots in Vancouver, I haven't heard of any violence or rioting in Boston. I hope this is the case. Kudos to the fans there... I only wish I could be there to celebrate in City Hall Plaza with anyone who goes to the party! Enjoy!

Peace,
Mr DJA

Great to be a Boston fan these days. All major teams winning their respective championships in a decade. Actually I do feel for the Sedins.I know they got their butts kicked and don't fight but they are stand up guys in the interviews I saw. I can't take Luongo, Burrows though...

Great riot. I'm not sure I understand it, though. Do the fans get something if their team wins? Do they each get a check for $10,000? And that's why they rioted? 'Cause now they're not gonna get their checks?

It's shameful...

I think we should have gotten our cheques regardless of whether we won. smileys with beer

Good series, good hockey year. Congrats to the Bruins. Yes Boston is now officially title town. I'm as Boston friendly as anybody lioving on the west coast can be. But enough winning already. Although thier fans showes a lot more class than Vancouver. No trouble in Boston and the Cnauckleheads riot because they lost. Hell if they would have won they would have burned down the whole damn city.
