Are there any news about the so often mentioned Faces tour in 2011?

The old news is what mac said in Randers:
"There will be more shows next year."

But I haven´t heard any concrete things yet.

So let's hope the best!

I quoted an article from Classic Rock Magazine a few months ago, they gave over quite a few pages to the reunion gigs.

Apparently the rumour had it that Hucknall and the band had a bit of a falling out regarding some of the improvised jamming sections in the set. If there is a kernal of truth in it then this may have had an effect upon the likelihood for a future Faces tour.

Course they can always look for another singer. My votes go to Danny Bowes from Thunder, or Spike from the Quireboys.

I doubt Rod would do it

Ronnie has mentioned, a few radio shows back, they will tour between January and april with Mick Hucknall.
Looking forward to it, while waiting for the stones

From what I heard, people were extremely happy with the Faces-shows earlier this year. But each to his own.

Faces in Denmark 2010, w Mick Hucknall on vocals and Glen Matlock on bass.

From what we've seen and heard so far, they did some pretty good performances.

I'd love to see them next year on stage.

If they were to tour in January, I guess we should already be informed of it...

If there is no Stones tour (whatever the reasons are) it would be great to see them, even if it isn't really The Faces.

If The Faces announce a tour for the early part of 2011 that would be real good news.We have The Faces performing fairly soon and still live in hope of a Stones tour starting summer or autumn.If they don't announce anything for quite a while and then it becomes a summer tour by Ronnie and his mates in The Faces,well The Stones won't be touring till much later in the year and dare I say it....................2012.Still good news 'cos we get to see both bands live,but so much longer to wait for The Stones. ><
