Holland/Netherlands is a sort of tax free paradise for big companies
like johnny walker, u2, Stones and much more..
The netherlands earn a lot of money because of it.but this also means that the man in the street pays for it.

It's been discussed here many a time before. Holland is a tax haven for the RS.

If my memory serves right, the Dutch RS company pays 1.5 % tax on their profits. A verily excellent deal though.

Experts may provide the sources and background to these figures.

The Stones record label Promotone B.V. is a company registered in the Netherlands.
So his trip there must have got something to do with GRRR!

Not for 'just' big companies, but for business where royalties are involved, as royalties earned outside the Netherlands are taxed 1.5%.

And the man in the street is not paying for it, but is earning money from it. The Netherlands are very attractive for big companies as taxes on earnings are relatively low. The idea behind it is that these big companies hire many people who will have work, income and hence pay tax, which is 52% at 56Keuro per year.
