In the footsteps of the legendary band - the Rolling Stones to kick off their anniversary year.
For 50 years they are one of the most successful bands in the world: the Rolling Stones.
They still play in the big stadiums bring out new CDs regularly.
To kick off their anniversary year, Dieter Moor travels in the footsteps of the legendary band from Dartford, London and Berlin.
Dartford attended the "ttt" presenter e.g. the birthplaces of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, he also travels to Cotchford Farm,
the former estate of Brian Jones, who in 1969 drowned in the swimming pool.
Dieter Moor meets the photographer Philip Townsend in London, who has photographed the band early on.
The biographer Philip Norman reports from inside the band of Sex, Drugs and 'Rock' n 'Roll.
Together with Marius Mueller-Westernhagen, Moor attended the Berlin Waldbühne, which was devastated after a Stones concert 1965
There are also interviews with members of the Rolling Stones and numerous archival material from the 50-year band history

That's what I thought too.
he was a little on the sarcastic side but certainly not over the top.

I've seen cringe worthy tv-bits before but this one doesn't belong into that category.

Sadly it wasn´t an "hommage" to the band, it was a stupid and badly done
succession of trivialities. The only thing missing was the tiny todger story.

did you really expect a "hommage" spanning 50 years crammed into a 30 minutes clip?
I found it rather fast moving and pleasantly entertaining.

without great expectations - one doesn't get pissed off.
