Texas Stadium (R.I.P.) in Dallas although Bill Wyman seems to think otherwise in his book. Outdoor stadium shows were always at The Cotton Bowl.

My living room!

Seriously, they never played Yankee Stadium. I'm pretty sure that they never played the old Madison Square Garden, the theatre underneath the current one, the Academy (though the Winos played there) or Hammerstein Ballroom. And they haven't played either the Prudential Arena or the NJ Performing Arts Center in scenic Newark. But otherwise they've covered Meadowlands Arena and Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ and the current MSG, the Beacon Theatre, Radio City Music Hall, and the Palladium/Academy of Music.

You're right, I don't think they ever did play the old Garden on 8th Ave. Did they play Carnegie Hall? Beatles and Dylan did.

ab, they also played Shea Stadium, but not its replacement, Citi Field, or whatever it's called.

The Stones never played the old Garden. Come to think of it, I'm not aware of ANY rock concerts ever having taken place there. The Academy of Music on 14th street was the Stones New York venue of choice in the mid-sixties, though they also played Forest Hills Tennis Stadium (seating capacity around 16,000) in 1966.

The current (and 4th) MSG opened in Feb. 1968. The Stones never played the venue prior to November '69. I doubt any rock concerts took place in the old venue, although the Stones weren't the first band to play the new one. One act I can certainly think of who beat them to it would have been The Doors who played there in January 1969.

The Old version of the Warfield in SF. Rumored to happen a few times but never did. Greek Theatre in Berkeley or even the Shoreline in Mountain View.

Ughh, please not Shoreline. I'd settle for another arena show before that.

I'd take another Arena show as well over Shoreline but it seems we are destined to be subjected to huge stadium shows.

Have they ever played the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville? Or was that only for country music no exceptions?

New Yankees Stadium, New Meadowlands Stadium, Eastman Theatre (awesome venue saw Jeff Beck there this summer), Consul Energy Center, Ralph Wilson Stadium, and My Living Room (in person at least, if TV doesn't count).

They played at Ralph Wilson Stadium in 1997. I was there.
