Venues never played by the Stones

What venues do you wish the Stones would play that they never performed at?

In Buffalo,

HSBC Arena (Seating Capacity around 20000)

or

Sheas Performing Arts Theatre (Seating Capacity around 4000)

Is there any big cities or venues that have not been visited by the Stones?

My living room!

Seriously, they never played Yankee Stadium. I'm pretty sure that they never played the old Madison Square Garden, the theatre underneath the current one, the Academy (though the Winos played there) or Hammerstein Ballroom. And they haven't played either the Prudential Arena or the NJ Performing Arts Center in scenic Newark. But otherwise they've covered Meadowlands Arena and Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ and the current MSG, the Beacon Theatre, Radio City Music Hall, and the Palladium/Academy of Music.

You're right, I don't think they ever did play the old Garden on 8th Ave. Did they play Carnegie Hall? Beatles and Dylan did.

This is a very interesting topic that should be analysed in more detail

1) are there obvious places that they haven't played that you would think they would have? Any glaring omissions?

2) where is the wierdest place they have ever played? Anything after they got popular, say in 1964.

3) is there a futire gig that would be the pinnacle? The great Pyramids (not the one in Vegas) ? Someone said Buckingham Palace. Is there a place to play a gig where nobody has gone? The places that used to be exotic are now common stops for big names. Is there any virgin territory?

RAH was also the only time the Stones shared the bill w/the Beatles, Sept. 15, 1963.

Didn't they do that at some of the NME Poll Winner's Concerts too? 1968 right?

If the Beatles played live in 1968 it is news to me. I was under the impression that after Candlestick Park in '66 there was only one more performance, and that was on the roof of Apple.

Inside the "Sydney Opera House" would be another place I would love to see The Rolling Stones perform in.I say inside the Opera House because all the Bands i've seen there have played in front of it.There maybe a good reason for that im not to sure why that is..maybe ROCKMAN might know ..The Sydney Opera House is a great Place.

Hey, they also not played my living room........ ;-)

Maybe that could be a brand new concept for the next Tour.
Performing in the living room of a fan, let's say 5 per country.
I don't think Mick will see much (money) perspective in this concept... ;-)

Sure they did, in 1964. There was a riot, broken chairs, etc... It was the last rock-n-roll gig at Carnegie for a very long time

I think The Grateful Dead played the Pyramids, so this would not be virgin territory.

30.000.000 $ the ticket (front row, upside row, behind row...).
I think there is a "market" for this kind of show !

But hurry up, Bono is probably thinking about this right now.

No, the last Beatles appearence at the NME Poll Winners Concert was in '66. They shared the headlining slot with the Stones that year. The Stones also performed at the '64 and '65 Awards and I'm sure the Beatles would've been at one of those, too. The venue was the Empire Pool, Wembley - now Wembley Arena.

I would also add Pakkahuone, Tampere, for a nice-sized 'club' -venue.
