I really hope she'll write a book ($$$) be on Oprah's (tears from the audience) and have her life put to screen by Hollywood ($$$$$$$$). I suspect Angelina Jolie has already put her agent on the project...

They're also the eyes of an innocent woman. At least in terms of the crime that she was accused of.

Rudy Guede was already found guilty of the murder—and with good reason. Google his name.

Apparently - according to her parents - it was a comment / nickname that derived from her footballing / soccer skills..............

Yeah of course she is.

Still we'll see lots of pictures of her in the papers....maybe even one of Meredith Kercher

Try not to forget a young woman was brutally stabbed to death!

Amanda Knox : white and "innocent"
Troy Davis : black and "guilty"

Things don't change that much after all!

just a thought for the 18 year old who was murdered... and her family who now have to try and work out whether anyone else was involved and got away.

I remember of course the whole story.

<<I didnt rape"
But how a woman can rape ? She doesn't have the right "stuff" for doing this ,does she ? confused smiley
(Sorry guys to call it "stuff" but I couldn't find another translation ...no offense meant to this lovely part of you, though smiling smiley )

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .

"Stuff" is a nicer word than "junk", which seems to be the popular term nowadays. You might have said, "She doesn't have what it takes" to rape .... but she could always use a Coke bottle, or something.

Eggzactly! People seem so sure Amanda is innocent -- when I read about her contradictory comments, I'm not so sure.

It's the most moving moment since the release of Nelson Mandela.

1. A young woman was brutally stabbed to death. Don't forget this by talking about this "story".

2. Only if you are sure you've found the person who has done this, and you can clearly prove it, you'll have the right to punish him.

But it seems, some people only want to see hang someone to be satisfied. That's lynch mentality. And in some countries with death penalty we can watch some very controversy diskussions about "to be sure or not to be sure ..."

Be judicious, please, and fair-minded.

Did you get it that the Daily Mail had "Amanda Guilty" in its online edition for a (short ?) time:

Amanda Knox guilty - says Daily Mail

As Knox realized the enormity of what judge Hellman was saying she sank into her chair sobbing uncontrollably while her family and friends hugged each other in tears.

A few feet away Meredith’s mother Arline, her sister Stephanie and brother Lyle, who had flown in especially for the verdict remained expressionless, staring straight ahead, glancing over just once at the distraught Knox family.

Prosecutors were delighted with the verdict and said that ‘justice has been done’ although they said on a ‘human factor it was sad two young people would be spending years in jail’.

Both Knox and Sollecito – who have always denied any involvement in the brutal murder – said they would take the case to the third and final level of appeal at the Supreme Court in Rome where it will probably be heard late next year.

I'm echoing the comments of a few others here, but what about the loved ones if the murdered girl? What for them now? How many more years of darkness and not knowing? It seems that the circus surrounding Knox is detracting from the original tragedy. Good for Knox and her ex-boyfriend, but...

The only people to blame for detracting from the original case. The tragic murder of a young girl. Are teh Italian police. Who completely blew the investigation from the start. Leave it to them to explain to the Kircher family why they screwed up and explain how they'll make it right.
