I've been going through youtube looking for some cool Stones ring tone for my mobile phone.

Basically it is all about a powerful intro, in - of course - a good sounding version.

There are many choices, but I am still undecided. Last I was trying to find a useful (i.e. useful for the specific purpose) version of Not Fade Away. Not found one yet.

I've been considering BS 68 version w/Clapton, All Down the Line, Waiting on a Friend, Start me Up, JJF live 68 HQ, HTW Hyde Park, Tumbling Dice inter alia.

I am getting spoilt for choice. Any suggestions to me?

As for myself,I get JJF as for my cell phone' ring and Under my Thumb when I receive textos or messages.

No Stones at the moment. Muddy Waters´ Got My Mojo Workin´ from Newport 1960. I use it as alarm tone every morning, too

Satisfaction works great...puts a smile on the face of anyone nearby.

Zagalo....I like that 'Start Me Up' idea for the alarm!

I have had satisfaction and Start Me Up and they were always liked. Now I have CYHMK and its awesome!

I'm Free would be another good choice. or 'Off the Hook' get it, if it was available..

I edited the piano intro from Loving Cup into a loop... so it takes a bit longer than the original... Fantastic ringtone, everytime the goosebumps!!

Further more I have edited samples of:
- Rain Fall Down.. need I say more?
- Can't You Hear Me Knocking (various samples)
- I'm Not Signifying (the part with horns and thus the guitar and harp solo)..

Just put any mp3 on your phone and use it as ringtone. I use Neighbors, scares the crap out of people around me, when Mick starts shouting

Ventilator Blues The riff sounds fantastic and it`s hearable even in traffic,subway and so on.Some ringtones may "disappear" when listening to other music,but Ventilator is still hearable then.

...I used to have 'Start Me Up'... in some weird, stripped-down electro-muzak version, very 'mechanical' sound; played on kind of playground synthersizer or something.
Sounded like fun!

i never understood ring tones. why put on a song that you like? that'll only make you not want to answer the phone in order to listen longer. wouldn't logic say that it makes sense to put a horrible song that you hate as your ring tone in order to stop the madness and answer your call?
