Ronnie needs to get a grip here and rid himself of whomsoever is marketing his art, this kind of marketing garbage is just downright offensive. It sucks. I have three of his bits of art, Conversation Piece, Wild Horses, and WaWa - pretty much everything else of his I don't personally dig. I'm always getting emails like the one Swiss mentioned in this thread, but this latest one .... "spend $ 25,000 and have dinner with Ronnie" ... who in the hell dreamt that one up ? Absolute garbage in my opinion.

This is a very strange offer indeed, it sounds rather tasteless.

< And Tele, there was actually a dinner/drinks/Q&A with Chuck Leavell event last year at the Mansion on O Street in DC, for I think about $250 - an old boyfriend invited me down for it if I'd pay for my own travel expenses but I declined b/c I don't have anything to say/ask Chuck. >
$250 Swiss? I was off by a factor of ten. A real man would have paid your way! Anyway, too bad. It would have been an opportunity ask him why he doesn't get a real piano.

Tele, ha ha - he is a real man and a real sweetie - just not that much of a monied man. I could've paid my way but Chuck not interesting to me.
