searing solos from Wood on Paul McCartney’s "Maybe I’m Amazed," a track the Faces covered on 1971’s Long Player.Quote

what the heck are they doing a Wings (Maybe I'm Amazed) song for?
hope that one gets dropped FAST from the setlist.

it was never a wings song - from macca's debut solo album....
LOVE record?! Of course, I wanted to write a LIVE record... but I will love that live record.Quote

If you just listen to the clicked videos without looking you would belive it was Rod. Mick is a great substitute!
And, of course, a love record would be a start for re-issuing the band.

Just kidding - glad everyone enjoyed the "Faces" concert. Ronnie and Friends would have been a more accurate name.

What I'd like to see them add to the setlist is a Small Faces song, if only as a reminder that there was (and can be) a version of this group without Rod.
Mac did a melancholy version of "Itchycoo Park" on his Spiritual Boy (tribute to Ronnie Lane ) album that I heard him sing in Austin a few years back. And it was... "all too beautiful."
Sing it, Mac!
Well last night's show was billed as a mini-gig and only had a 12 song setlist. So maybe they'll expand it to include some of RL's stuff.Quote

"The part that was missing – and irreplaceable – was Lane’s. His key songs, such as Debris and Glad and Sorry, were not even attempted."
I don't know why not. Mac does a fine job covering Lane's songs. He could have seen to it that Ronnie Lane was at least there in spirit last night. Who knows? Maybe he wanted to do some of RL's songs and got out-voted.
