I have a feeling Keith would be the top draw ever if he did in-store appearances. How people would come out of thw woodwork if they knew they would meet him and get an autograph...

If the Stones are ALL ABOUT THE MONEY as many of you claim, he would SURELY do it. I, for one, doubt that he will. We'll see.

He may do like Andy Summers did.
Hit the big markets for a signing.

NYC - LA - Chicago.

What about Texas Keith?

C'mon

Why wouldn't keith do a book signing? Back in Oct of 1992 he did a record signing for the release of Main Offender at Tower Records in NYC.

He just didn't seem that into writing it...lousy typing, he could type so much better before he got arthritis...needed Taylor or Woody to ghost-write it for him...keeps using the same phrases over and over....

Mick got bored writing his book and dropped the whole thing, probably for the better. As for Ronnie's book, not sure he even read it, let alone wrote it.

Waiting for Charlie's book.

It would probably be extremely short but have very nice and tasteful book jacket graphics.

I just hope that its contents don't put the kybosh on any plans for the band to work next year.

Time's now running too short for plans to be postponed by two years of sulking and bickering ! ;^)

I would love to have an audio version of this book read by Keith. That would be so funny.

Oh come on now. Half the people on this board would have to go to the toilet if they heard Keith's voice.

Did anyone suggest to Keith to work close with IORR's Department of Historical Accuracy
on his autobiography?

That would have been a splendid idea in more than one way,

If Keith really want to promote His book, we will see him at "The frankfurter book fair" between the 6th and 10th of October 2010. This is the most important book-fair in the world by far!
My personal Opinion: he will be there!!!

I wonder what would be new in "Life" that many of us don't already know...

I've read it, except for the last three chapters. (Who are not yet ready to be translated). And I'd definitely read it AGAIN.
And yes - I can imagine the whiners - telling us loudly about everything thatsnot correct, (oh Christ - he missed the exact date with ONE day!), and so on.
And the thing is, many people are actually going to miss the really good read, in their hunt for "incorrectness".
The rest of you - you can look forward to aome very amusing moments, some quite sad chapters - and a disarmingly honest man - telling the story of his life.

Eh? No doubt I'll be reading it at the same time as pretty much everyone else.

My point was that we only 'know' a tiny fraction of the man's life. And next to nothing about the private Keith.
