these are german bands with huge international reputation and influence on many bands/musicians..

The only bands who had international success throughout the last two decades were Rammstein and Die Toten Hosen (esp. in South America).

Scorpions are worth a laugh, in particular as they think of themselves of international rock stars. They're just ridiculous.

wtf? the scorpions have had much more success than either of those bands over the last 2 decades. here in the states rammstein is still primarily an underground band
