Saw this on ebay and made me wonder. In the early you would occasionally get the odd different mix on an 8 track tape. I know some stuff at CBS records was mixed differently or accidentally released differently on 8-track. ( There are some different quad mixes and such out there that show up on 8 tracks tapes.)

Has anyone ever took a listen to LIB, SF and Exile on 8-track? Any different mixes slip in?

my first copy of exile was on 8-track, the songs were in a different order but don't remember there being any different mixes. my copy had the same front cover as the lp and a grey plastic cartridge instead of black. and goats head soup had pink plastic. like these
