I often wonder how come that some folks dislike Bridges to Babylon so much.
It's probably not as great as their classic ones from the 60's/70's but still a very good album!
They worked long and hard on that album with some good musicians helping out.
And you can hear the result!
A lot of very nice songs and very good playing.
It's obvious that the Babylon tour was the one newer tour where much of their current stuff was played. And not like most times only as fillers, - but as highlites of their stageset!
Saint of me, Out of control, Flip the switch, Anybody seen my baby,You don't have to mean it,Thief in the night, . . - and even seldom played songs like Lowdown, Already over me or Might as well get juiced were interesting renditions!
And there is even more on that record: Gunface,Too tight,How can I stop . .
Really one of their great late albums . . !!
But as I said before: It's hard to break their Top 7 !
