This changes, of course, and sometimes I only ever listen to Tattoo You for a while or Let It Bleed or Exile but I'd say those 7 are the ones I listen to the most and very close to that order actually. The only other album that I would cram in there if I could is Ya-Ya's.

Sorry, nothing much different from everyone else. Ya Yas would be my first choice, but I was under the impression that the poll was centered on studio releases. Still, nothing captures the Stones more than this live recording with some overdubbing of course, but not as much as later live albums and captures the Stones at near their zenith.

I know a lot of us consider It's Only Rock 'N Roll to be a rather weak release. It is Mick Taylor's swan song and the introduction of Ronnie Wood (even if for "inspiration" only). Great tracks on here, not a great cohesive unit IMHO, perhaps a lot like Tatoo You.

The rest of my ranking speak for themselves and I guess on any given day or mood, this list could be turned inside out and upside down. Let's hope they can rekindle the magic of these releases and put out something close to as good (regardless of whether or not it sells) before they call it quits.

It would be nice if we would rank the most mentioned 7 albums in order of preference. Then we would have an IORR Rolling Stones albums ranking list: The Seven Most Loved Rolling Stones Albums In Order Of Preference.

I like to see what other members like. So it would be nice when everyone would participate.

I think I mean something else. After this 'poll' Havo will present us a list which contains the albums that have reached the top 7. He has promised to do that on June 1, if I've understood him well.

Then we can say, in a second round, in what order we like those 'most favourite 7 albums'. For instance: if the list of 7 albums of June 1 will contain Some Girls (it'll likely does) then I have to include it in the ranking of my 'second list' too. Because I didn't choose it in the first round, I'll put it very likely on place 7. After that second round it is possible to make The IORR List of Seven Most Loved Rolling Stones Albums In Order Of Preference.

The order of those to me is always changing . .
But they are the absolute best!!

For the rest. Well, 7 is a funny number!
So I have to take at least these:

Out of our heads
Aftermath
and Goats head soup.

Plus "Bravo The R. Stones" A nice German compilation from 65 and having been my first Stones album!
And if I had to pick one more - and that would be 10 albums now -I'd take
Some Girls.
