Which sax solo is Bobbys best on a Stones record? Brown Sugar is great, Live With Me as well, but to me the one on Sweet Virginia will always be the greatest. It just fits the song and make it reach another level, both live and in the studio. Always loved it. The feel and the beauty is beond this world.

I like his solo on Casino Boogie too, simple but effective

love that texas blower - but i'm not sure there's been much in the way of variety to that would suggest a particular solo as his best...

Brown Sugar baby. For me it is probably the best sax solo in rock/pop history, except maybe for Junior Walker on Shotgun.

Can't You Hear Me Knocking! Wonderful latin/jazz fusion that really gets the song cooking and leads right in to Taylor's wonderful solo. A classic hand off.

His solo on Sweet Virginia is tasty. Tight and compact but has a great barrel house quality to it, and fits so well with Stu's piano.

And not a stones, but a few other great Key's performances with John Lennon. A great one on (Well) Baby Please Don't Go, on the Lennon Anthology, and I Don't Want to Be a Soldier Momma I Don't Want to Die.

Great player and a fine gentleman. I had the pleasure of standing in line behind him at Chinese immigration after their Shanghai show, and he was kind enough to sign my ticket stub for me. And we chatted a bit, nice guy.

I can't pick a best one. I think he did some interesting things on the ER album, on the title track, Dance, and All About you. Not really any solos in there but adding a nice layer to the music.

Brown Sugar.

His solo is 40% of the tracks greatness.
Seldom has such a nasty sax fitted a rock track so much!
