Its not a BBC channel, so I would imagine that it should be available online for everyone as is the norm with most independent radio stations

Absolute itself is definitely one of the better UK commercial stations: one I listen to quite a lot - I haven't tried the Classic Rock version yet but their playlist for today is here:

Thanks for the link Green Lady, very entertaining! I need to see if there's some way I can buy this channel.

Ronnie played great set! among AC/DC and the Who there was Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters... we had Stones, Faces, Womack, Chuck Berry... hell yeah.

Interesting playlist, but i did not expect so many ads and so few stories from Ronnie. In this regard, you take the preview sample: with what he says on Chuck Berry, J. Hendrix, and Paint it black on Stage, you almost have everything he has said during the 1h show !

he said his name about a 100 times smiling smiley
anyway I enjoyed him playing a little guitar. nice addition, even if it's only 30 sec snippets...

Yeah the ads were a pain. I've removed them all now.

enjoyed listening to the edited commercial free version. well produced program.
reminds me a lot of randy bachman's (from the guess who and BTO) radio show called vinyl tap where he tells stories and plays a little bit of guitar along with what he is talking about.

It's the first show of the series so he's plugging it - I wouldn't expect him to still be saying he's Ronnie Wood every five minutes after a week or so. Fairly obvious choices of music for the first show (again I guess this will change as time goes on) and I did enjoy having the musical "comments" on his guitar - on the whole, it's a better show than I'd expected.

Ronnie seemed to enjoy this program. I would hope he would get into some more obscure musical favorites. The short guitar intros were a good idea.

Thanks loads strettonbull for taking the time to send the files. It is much appreciated.
