My mother passed away little over a week ago, due to severe heartconditions & complications. We held her funeral this (last) weekend.
I just wanted to mention her, now that it's all over, because she's been a good gal altogether.
In november she would have been 70.

Your ma might not be with you physically anymore Filip but she'll never leave you. God bless her on her journey to the next place.

...It’s all good.
I had the chance of being with her in the hospital until the very, very end. Together with my (only) brother, our wives & our father. A very sad and yet very ‘fullfilling’ experience.
Then I played ‘Let it Bleed’ & ‘Beggars Banquet’ repeatedly for a couple of days; it’s all good!! ;o)
My mother was that kind of woman that disgusted the Stones because she genuinely couldn’t understand how people could be so “raw”. But she loved music, and we found a way out: ‘Wild Horses’ …by Susan Boyle was played at her ceremony. =o)
Again: cheerz for all your thoughts, IORR!

Filip, all the very best to you...I'm glad for both of you that you were able to be together at the end.
I'm sure you know already, but just a reminder sometimes that sadness and sense of loss hits in waves or sort of delayed reaction--it's ok to be wherever you are with things.
