me - but it wont happen. They dont seem to have a record deal for starters as far as studio albums are concerned and theres no time to make and release one.

theres no point anyway. They arent touring for long enough behind it to make it worth their while and considering they lost interest in promoting ABB after a few months, theyre going to have even less interest in plugging anything even more recent.

"Whip it up real quick"...doesn't sound like a good formula, but YES please give us a new album!

I agree with Gazza---no deal in place; it took 8 yrs between records last time...

I would love another record, it just does not seem very likely.

Hmmmmmm...well yeah I know they have no contract
at the moment but a lot has happened in the Stones camp since Bang was released..
So a rough guess would be that there's a lot of emotions sqirming around and trying to get out of them there Glimmer Boys...

Here, but really I should go to bed now.

Anyway, a new album including new songs would be very welcome anytime :-)
Thanks for considering.

I want a new album. But the dream of a raw, unrehearsed bluesy album doesn't get me - after all, that is what ABB was all about. Very few side musicians and so on. Now, I don't think it works that well, apart from a couple of songs, and I must say LIND for instance would have, in my view, benefited from richer arrangements. I say (with little hopes) work on it, and do something great and well crafted like Voodoo Lounge.

Count me in for a new album although it's not likely to happen.

Hell yeah, Lobster... Their creativity is increasing, I can feel it in ma toes... And ABB gives, at worst, an indication therewards...

I want a new album!
But a new album with old material (Tattoo You like)would be very good, too.
I think they'll make a new one after this 2007 European Tour. I hope so!

i want one but i am not too optimistic for the near future...and in the long run: time is not on our side.

Realistically i would say there could be one life album this year, and maybe one Mick Jagger solo album 2008 or 2009, but i would like to be proven wrong....

That would be great, but I'd rather have nothing than another ABB.

I dont see it happen...would i want it? Yeah of course..but the way they toured ABB makes no sense at all...I could not understand...cause Jagger always wanted to do new ones...it remains a little strange only three new ones per show...but hell thats an old discusion...always happy to see the gang!

I always want a new Stones album! But if a new album is still in them is another question. I am sure they won't do another "we make an album because an album is needed for the tour" project anymore, because they have learned that at this stage in their game, they need no successful album to do a successful tour. Money-wise, they could not care less because a couple of shows earn them considerable more money than a new album which takes months in preparations, recording & mixing. So it all depends on the question if they really want to do another album just for the sake of recording another album - which is a true artistic reason. If they're really up for it, they will do it. But if they want to rest on their laurels now they know that they can do that too!
