Mick makes it so clear that he dislikes having stuff thrown at him (and no wonder!)
that it really puzzles me that people do it anyway.

actually Keith and Ronnie are both quite kind about accepting the gifts -
it's Mick who kicks/hurls them back into the crowd

yes, Mick often looks visibly annoyed as he dodges stuff, and/or hurls or kicks it out of the way.
and yelling at everybody: "don't throw your friggin bottles at me!" is not exactly an indicator that he doesn't mind.
maybe he's a bit more mellow about it now than he was in the 70s/80s/90s, though
the Saitama footage includes Keith good-naturedly shielding himself against a shower of cigarette packs -
which he then collects from the stage and piles up on the drum riser, along with a bunch of scarves and what-not.
he is kind about the fans' wish to give him something. even it's just a foolish rag-like token, he sees that it's love
but is it also Saitama where Ronnie is just bending over to pick up a piece of lingerie
when the Mick grabs his belt and drags him away, and then kicks the item off the stage?
i forget which ABB show that was ... maybe there was some reason for it, but it seemed ... mean.
ps just pondering the decades of dodging what people are throwing at/to you -
all kinds of love and joy and blessings on the Rolling Stones, for good

disn't see it coming and it made a nasty bump on my head.
