Who gave the riff in this song, Mick or Keith?I'm bit curious to know it.

don't know - but it is a killer Stones song - strong and begging to be played live!

It should be played live. But who can give tht riff. Most proably by Keith.

I like the ending of the song. Very strong...!

I'm not a huge fan of this song. But like others from ABB, it DEMANDS to be played live. I can understand them not doing it in the states, (Chickens!), but no reason why not in Europe.

And Sweet Neo-Con.

I'm not a Voodoo fan - but the strength of that tour was the new Rockers.

So, please shelve SOL and RFD. Give us the New Rockers and prove that you are not Old Rockers!

ps Biggest Mistake or Let Me Down Slow would make for soothing variety too.

Dear Chuck,
If you read this, please ask the boys to try this song live.
Why not in Paris, by the way !

One of the most powerful songs on the album, don't understand why they're not doing it live....

I think the lyrics are very clever but the song itself is a drag. I for one hope they never play it live. Instead I'd much rather hear them do Under The Radar or Let Me Down Slow.

What's the meaning again? Angelina Jolie

Although at first glance it seems like an S & M song, it's about the chick abusing the Iraqi prisoners. She is/was not a beauty though.

love, love, LOVE this track. it rocks and rolls as hard as anything the stones have ever done, IMHFO. it has that brutally powerful drive to it that only keith, charlie, and mick can deliver.

along with LIND, DB is one of the real classics on ABB. again, IMHO.

Elmo, doubt she was a chick, well she did get knocked up so she had the equipment. But she was one of those 2 six packs, bottle of Tequila, 5 Blue Valium, 3 joints, 2 Qualudes, and Viagra with a blindfold - yep, one of those kinda beauties...(only works if you've been in prison for 10 years or stationed in Iraq on your 3rd rotation, 2nd year)

The best track together with Look What the Cat Dragged in, She Saw Me Coming and Driving Too Fast. The Stones have become a joke for playing only 35 year old hits and not these terrific songs of their new album.

Those songs you mentioned are the best ones, together with 2-3 others.
I can't understand the critisism of Look What The Cat Dragged In on this board.

DB along with Back of My Hand and Sweet Neo-Con ought to be played at every show, just for their here-and-now relevance. In Europe they won't have to worry about pissing off 50% of the audience.

Musically, It Won't Take Long and She Saw Me Coming are like Stones tracks from their Golden Age--these songs have balls!

Let's hear 'em boys!!

Well they don't play 35 year old songs ONLY. They do have some rare stuff and some new stuff, and it's great. What I think is a joke is people hanging around a Stones site telling everyone they have become a joke...

Because I am a big fan of the Stones before they became this Vegas act. And as far as I am concerned, their legacy from '68 until '86 still is important and large enough to stick around here.

I think that this "Vegas Act" is by far the best rock show around.

You are really something Mathijs, you always manage to tick me off!! You are always saying something bad about the STONES! How come you are still here.????... I do believe that all you did was critisize the Stones Bigger Bang and now your talking about them again in a bad way, How does a guy like YOU NOT get BANNED from here?? Couldn't Possibly be buddies with BV because all you do is MOCK the STONES from Stem to stearn. If you are only a fan from 68 to 86 then do your own site dedicated to those years! How can you call yourself a TRUE fan?

They've done a heck of a lot of things since 1986...do you live under a rock? Haven't you been listening??? Even though you 'claim' you listen, but you don't like a damn thing since 86...Come ON!!

And VEGAS?? Where the heck to you see Vegas Act in a STONES SHOW??? Hmmm...Nope don't see it as far as I can stretch my imagination....The Rolling Stones are in no way a Vegas Act. Have you been to Vegas? Have you seen a Vegas Act? Cause I don't see any dancing girls on stage..Oh but there is one woman, the amazing LISA FISHER! Yea, she is something else but...she's no show girl, she's all WOMAN and an AWESOME vocalist, and a great asset to the STONES SHOW. Vegas?? NO WAY!!

I don't see any poodles jumping through firey hoops,!!
And I don't see Mick and the boys in matching tuxedos, nope, there is no VEGAS CRAP HERE!!
ITS ONLY ROCK N ROLL!! And its amazing and if you'd bother to OPEN YOUR MIND, and your wallet to actually go to a show you'd see it too.... You are apparently trapped in a TIME WARP!!

Hear what I'm saying??..Maybe you should see them again and really LISTEN !! Then Listen to yourself and see how crazy it sounds when you call yourself a fan, and at the same time limit your time frame of listening to them....If you would climb out from under your time warp, you'd see how truly GREAT THE ROLLING STONES ARE!! And ALWAYS WILL BE!! THEY ARE TRUE PROFESSIONALS WHO TURN IT OUT EVERY NIGHT!

I'd like to see you, (and any of the other complainers), have the energy they have! I'd like to see anyone put out like they do, and do it again the next night!! I mean, just being in the Crowd kicks your ass! Imagine being on the stage and being a STONE! Holy Sh*% man, how do they do that!?!!

Well I think I'm done going on about this, and I hope you do something about your STONES RUT! Because I'm sick and tired of hearing the whining. There is Not EVER going to be another band that can do what the STONES have done for over 40 years. I count myself Lucky to have been a part of this! I adore them.
Always will.

STONES FOREVER!

Very glad you are a iorr member Mathijs, always nice to read your point of view,
keep on posting,I think your opinion counts, since you are a Stones fan for over at least two decades!

Easy does it Mickschick... He may post some negative stuff but the Vegas act thing isnt a shot in the dark. Compare 81/82 to any tour since and you HAVE to admit it has gone a bit more Vegas. Case in point: backup singers. I hate em. I hate Lisa, Bernard, Blondie, they all suck. Dont get me wrong they can all sing/do precussion whatever just fine, but I hate seeing them on stage. Most fans on this board would rather see an entire show on the bstage than anything the main stage has to offer. The Stones + piano/keyboards + sax = greatest show possible. If they got rid of the backup singers and played a few lesser known tunes, it would never be compared to a Vegas act.

After reading your posts on iorr, Ive come to the conclusion that there is something wrong with you. If you don't know anything about music and the Stones please don't post. Your post are ridiculous, especially about the one about being a Vegas Act. Stay in your 3rd world country. I'm surprised you can even run a computer let alone own one. Study music and maybe someday buy a guitar and learn how to play. Maybe then you'll understand. You're a sad, sad, sad person. And by the way, USA USA USA USA!!!! Home of THE ROLLING STONES!!!
