isn't that the show where he had a magazine photo of Bill (with Mandy, maybe ?) taped to his front?
(sorry, maybe i'm thinking of some other scenario)

Those were the days before internet weblogs ruined any surprises. I was deeply impressed
with the setlist. All surprises, no idea what songs I had to expect.

Comment: Loved that they played "The Last Time"...even though it was
a little too "bouncy"..and Mick was awkwardly skipping across the stage for the entire song.

Is it not "It's All Over Now" you're thinking of?

3rd question: At least the small stage was used at the shows in Rotterdam in august 1995.
If I remember correctly they played Angie and Let it bleed from the smaller stage, that remained on the big stage, but just formed a more intimate setting./quote]
The stage was mobile in Miami, and came out of the big stage ( a few meters into the audience) I don't think it was used anywhere else.
The Stones People Magazine people in Holland would have mentionned it in their reviews of this tour, and I don't remember they mentionned it...

was this idea of a smaller stage & a b-stage out in the middle of the stadium
used before the Stones by other bands?

They used the trap door during Sympathy instead of Not Fade Away, starting late in the Fall U.S. leg. Worked much better that way, I think.
