Today for the first time i saw Wyman's Blues Odyssey-DVD. There are parts of a live-version(?) from love in vain. seems to be a tv-show or something. does anybody know more about this, is it available on dvd?

i haven't watched Blues Odessey in a long time, but it might be from Hyde Park, or the Sullivan show, or the one from Gimme Shelter ... what's the backdrop look like, and/or what are any of them wearing?

Well they played it live at the Ed Sullivan show in 69... Beautifull.
Its possible to get it from Winmx

soul, no it's not from hyde park or gimme shelter, i have both. you see keith playing slide on his transparent guitar, one string is broken. jagger is singing live to a playback-version. so it could be from the sullivan-shows, but i haven't them on dvd. could mail you some snapshots.

Kait, if Keith is on the plexi Ampeg Dan Armstrong lookin like ... ~*yikes!*~ with a fang in his ear and all, that's from the Sullivan show.
smile, one of my favorite quotes about Keith came from the rehearsals to that show:
Little Richard, who was watching them, said:

Little Richard is right - keith had the coolest outfit in those years!!!
he is wearing a black shirt with white patterns, can't see a fang.

maybe i just imagined the fang - it sure would fit! :E

yeah, Keith's whole demeanour was mighty (shall we say) definitive; Mick's too, for that matter.
yikes, i remember watching that performance in 1969 and all the grownups screeching in terror -
what IS this, who the hell serves something like that up for sunday evening family viewing on the Ed freakin Sullivan Show,
what is the world coming to, who ARE these people?!
