When I see that photo I think "that girl's gotta be cold!"

let's see - there's Tiberius on the left followed by Nero, Commodus, Caracalla, with Gaius Ceasar in the foreground.

I think it's inspired by this Manet painting:

You might want to consider the actual fact that he Oriole Drive house and the stay at Steve Stills home were in 1969

There is almost the same picture where Wyman I think is the only one to look down at the girl ,horrible glimpse .

bit of trivia--I met that blonde girl--in 1982 I was interning in college at Utopia Video in Woodstock, Todd Rundgren's place - she worked at his house on Mink Hollow Road as sort of a housekeeper/baby sitter - the baby was Liv Tyler

I really like the first one,Keith and Mick looked fresh and innocent....weird comparison with the b&w pic..

The first Thomas Monaster photo I've ever seen was the one from Jagger alone in Laurel Canyon, with the leather jacket .
The hamac one's was really nice too.

That one seems too "fake" ,I don't really like it :

Danny Sugarman was a parasitical junkie. He married fellow junkie Fawn Hall. Then he died.

I know the Shady Oak house well because I lived there after Stills moved out. It was a party house for sure and really beautiful. Peter Tork was our landlord and the house seemed to get passed around within a certain circle of friends. We were all musicians.

There was a big hole in the bar that someone told me was made when Jim Morrison was drunk and kicked it.

I'd buy that house if I could afford it--talk about Rock history!

That's the area just next to the shallow end of the pool. That edge in the bottom right corner is the lip of the pool. The room behind them is the solarium, and the screen door leads into the bar, that has two steps down into the huge, semi-circular living room that overlooks the San Fernando Valley.

Really interesting thread, I've also read quite a few things about the Keith v Stills thing. One story was that Stills was obsessed with Keith and wanted to be Keith...you can imagine the fall out from this sort of obsession!

That house could tell some stories Jody and if you ever buy it, can I be your handy man!

This is the solarium looking out over the pool. When I lived there, it was full of plants. The room in the background is the music studio. It had a door leading out to the pool as well.

It can be a bit of a mad house round here but generally it's all cool until you start a Taylor Vs Wood mass debate. Then it all kicks off big style.

Thanks for your contributions. Very cool!!!!
