Hi,
Just have a look at the photo. In France it's the highest decoration given by our Republic.

I think he is more Beatles than Rolling Stones
If he's fair, maybe he will also give it to Mick Jagger

Does this mean that Bob Dylan can pull rank on him since he is a Commander in the French Legion of Honour? Or maybe Sir Paul can pull rank on Van Morrison who's only a Chevalier? By the way, what happens if France and Great Britain go to war? Which army will Sir Paul join? He's an honorary officer in both countries (and a Knight Bachelor in Chile, apparently).

Then hyou can forget about a Tour - Keith will become more than upset.

Charlie said the French liked the Rolling Stones more just because every other country liked the Beatles more. The Beatles were thrown by their French concerts because the audience was a bunch of deep men's deep voices roaring...in every other country the Beatles heard high girls' voices screaming. Track down some French Beatles concerts and you'll hear the audiences' deep voices.

damn, you're right, I forgot about Keith's reaction !
ok then, I'm gonna write to my President to ask him not to give the Legion d'honneur to Mick Jagger in order to avoid a disaster.

Paul is starting to look his age.

Look his age? He's seventy years old and he still expects us to believe he doesn't have a single grey hair.
