It's Pieter Kentrop of Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys, a Dutchman from Amsterdam.
And it's the band who uses the plexiglass to write the set lists, not Blondie.

That's what you think. I guess I honestly don't know about Blondie's band, but in the case of the Stones, it is often THE PLEXIGLASS Himself (it would be a misnomer to say "Itself" as He is a spiritual entity of perpetual life).

He determines the set lists and gives spiritual inspiration to Chuck so he can divine what the set list is to be on any given night.

Glad to see Blondie has also recognized the Divinity of THE PLEXIGLASS, or so it might appear.

how can we loosen up the plexiglass a little - it's so tight-fisted! buy it drinks at the bar before the show?

Timbernardis - what can one say???! It's not Blondie's band. He just played with them one lovely night.
Hark hark, are you perhaps taking the plexi glass thing a bit far? Divinity and religion, come on! It was only funny some years ago. Now it's more like...sad.

Bump - if no news added, this is to try and bury the silly Britain's Got Talent threads down and out. Mocking a person because of her looks, doesn't look good on this.
News will be added Monday.

Late summer/early fall.
My guess - just before the re-mastered "Exile" and the announcement of some news.

Hi Peter!
The shows in Norway are either 45 minutes or two sets - 45 minutes each.
When he's on the bill with other acts - the length of the show is decided by a head of programme (festival) or a promotor.
Just had a confirmation that he's doing the release party in Oslo for the Rolling Stones re-mastered series, Part 2. (Some Girls, Tattoo You, Emotional Rescue and Undercover) June 14th. On this occation he'll do two or three solo numbers and accompanied by Pieter Kentrop, he'll do two or three Stones songs.

It's a free entry gig at the Hard Rock Café in Oslo. There'll be ads in the newspapers! And online.
You're all hereby invited! There'll be a small iorr-section in the restaurant. And BV - our very own Björnulf - is the quiz master. Prepare for some tough ones!

Are you tough enough - to answer BV's questions?
Rich enough - to turn down the prizes?

Did the Germans see Blondie on TV this morning?
He got up at 6 AM, was in the TV studio at 7:15 and did a couple of songs.
Please feel free to post clips if you saw it...

I was pleasantly surprised to see a bit of that TV appearence this morning.
before Blondie came on they were reporting about snoring, so the moderator asked Blondie if Keith or any of Rolling Stones snored on the tour bus - well yeah, but certainly Not Keith. no names named.

I just watched it again, hope it works for you.

People can drink and eat and sing all they want. But during Björnulf's quiz I bet they're gonna shut up... Because it's a tough one! Only to secure that the most knowledgeable person wins. Does that sound like a good solution, Sir?

Open-g: Thanks for posting! It can't be shown in my country, according to the message from SAT1, but most people live elsewhere (we're only 4,8 million), so thanks anyway!

I bet this evening is going to be great fun especially for us norwegians having this genius musician Blondie coming so often to our "small" country..When does the fun begin Addicted?Early morning or afternoon?

About the Onkel Blaa gig, is this a full lenght gig?

Heartbraker or Heartbreaker?
Details will follow a bit later. Record company, Hard Rock, Platekompaniet and Some Girls will decide details tomorrow.
Show: Afternoon, quite late, I think. A special repertoire, as it's a release party for the Stones remastered series, free entry etc. And other things on the agenda.
"Small country" - I never said that. The country is big, but scarcely populated. We're only 4,8 million. There's certainly room for more people. I hope I didn't sense any type of irony or hostility here - because I can't see what brought that about. And I prefere this site to be a friendly place. And I think the webmaster/quizmaster quite agrees...

The Onkel Blaa gig: They wanted him to play for 1 hour - so 1 hour it is.

I believe it's Fritzclub im Postbahnhof - regardless, Maria am Ostbahnhof is just around the corner.

I went and saw him last night. it was a very intimate setting, that litle cinema, like a living room.
he said he's a bit nervous in such a small crowd but he sang and played great. yeah, he's got it.
when asked "what about a Stones tour?" he said: he's keeping in touch with Keith via fax - handwritten only, of course.
a little bird wispered him that early 2010 a tour is planned.

probably going to see him again tonight.

Good to hear he's got it! I kinda knew that, but your opinion is valued.
Just got a big festival job for him. Biggest and best festival in Norway.
