To those of you who were kind and generous enough to sponsoe me,
thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Your donations were a huge motivation, to get me to the finish line,
which i did in 5 hours 50 minutes.
My injury problems, in the last month, nearly forced me to pull out, as late as friday evening....i feared that 6-8 months were completely wasted.
However friends and family massaged the fragile state of mind, i was experiencing, and convinced me to make it, at least, to the start line.
They were right to do so.
Of the 6 marathons, i've now completed, it was by far, the hardest, hottest, and most painful.
But it was also the most well supported, the most inspiring and the most emotional....give it afew more days, and i might also be convinced to call it the most 'fun'.
'Breast Cancer Care' will benefit greatly from your generosity...but my Marathon days are over....i'msticking to 10k's and Half Marathons, from here on in.
The body is sending me messages.
Here's me on Horse Guards Parade,(the designated repatriation area)
20 minutes after i crossed the finish line.
