O.T - Adrian-L's running The London Marathon
Posted by: Adrian-L ()
Date: March 18, 2009 14:36

As some of you, may be aware, on Sunday April 26th, i will be (trying to eye popping smiley) running the London Marathon.

I originally won a place in the 2008 ballot, but had to pull out, early on in the training regime, due to injury.
I was able to defer my entry, to this year's race...
so i've got unfinished business.

I'm raising funds for a great charity called' Breast Cancer Care'.

Here's a little bit of info about them:-

"Breast Cancer Care is the leading provider of breast cancer information and support across the UK. It is committed to providing accessible, high-quality services for everyone affected by breast cancer. All services are free and include a helpline, website, publications, and practical and emotional support.
Charity Registration No 1017658"

If you would like to sponsor me, (and enjoy the thought of me dragging
my knackered-out carcass, around the streets of London, for 26 miles),
you can do so via the link below:-

many thanks

Nutter. Good luck mate I hope it doesn't hurt too much. My top tip is to eat plenty of pasta the night before and drink pleanty of isotonic fluid. Take an ipod to give some musical inspiration.

Nah 10 pints of Guinness and a curry preferably a phal. That'll do the trick.

Good luck to you, Adrian. I 'ran the London' some years ago now and it was an amazing day. All the pain is worth it when you cross that finishing line!
