So how's the training coming on?

thankyou for your interest.

I did 20 miles, at the weekend.
The final 3-4 miles, were a torturous jog/walk.

I'm planning to do 16-18 miles this weekend, which leads me, into
the 'tapering' period of the training regime.
I have my final 'dress rehersal' race, on sunday 5th April,
a 16 mile road race.
Then there's 3 weeks of light training, before the big day (1 month, today)

if anyone would like to sponsor me, please do so, here:-

Sadly, no I didn't - I couldn't find decent seats, only seats in the back....and Oslo Spektrum is a real poor venue becuase of the echo, so being in the front is the only option. Also....I'm not in Oslo this month - but up north. Listened through the show yesterday thanks to the Dime torrent though

You know....once you reach a certain age, it's difficult just getting yourself out of the house - I'm no youngster anymore

that's a shame - i've only listened to the first night, so far (Billy, etc)
- very enjoyable...he seems to be enjoying himself.
coming over in April?

If not for the study - and the obvious lack of income, I'd be in both London, Oslo and Stockholm....will have to wait until the 2011-leg of Bob's NET !
Yes his voice is better than last year; but the band is not. Hope he will be stirring the setlist up again - and include new material, later on. The songs from Modern Times were the absolute highlights of 2006/2007....they gave him a new spark on stage.....especially songs like Nettie Moore and Spirit On The Water, I'll bet it would be the same case with "Together Through Life"

I can sympathize - due to financial constraints and bad timing, i can only make one show - Cardiff. Though, i do have a GA ticket, and hopefully i'll get some new TTL material, as it's released the day before this show.
have a good weekend.

Cheers mates - i'm going to the London Excel for the Marathon Expo, this afternoon to collect my race pack and spend a load of money on crap i don't want or need.

I'm carrying an injury- but i'll get round regardless.... hopefully before
nightfall.
The weather forecast is heavy rain - suits me just fine.....been training in similar conditions for last 8 months - don't want any of this sun and heat nonsense!

Yeh, rain is good although preferrably only a light shower. Will you also be carbo-loading with a massive plate of pasta on saturday?!

I useed to find the biggest bugbear was the wind, heavy rain or anything else wasant too bad, but a fierce wind was a right bugger.

I thought the weather was supposed to be decent for the weekend as well.
