O man, those cats were really good that night.
Will we ever see them in such a nice setting again?
No stadium show can ever beat the greatness of these club shows.

Wow - Mick just isn't interested in singing Crazy Mama huh. Wow.

I really like "Crazy Mama" and I always waited for a live version after El Mocambo. But when I heared the 1997 live versions I was (and still am) very disappointed. Guitar work is okay (bit too slow) but Jaggers singing is harmless and without feeling. The soul of the studio version is Jaggers aggressive and rough singing.

Wow! Is Ronnie ever been so up-mixed? He almost sounds like he is doing the job what he is supposed to do...Those little runs in "Crazy Mama" are nice, indeed.

"Little Queenie": bloody hell, they almost sound like a greatest rock and roll band of the world. What a great atmosphere! Small stage also works for Jagger: he is forced to reduce his jogging and aerobics into minimum. Also Keith seems more concentrating on playing than posing.

What a great bunch they actually -if they just give themselves a chance - are.

Hmm, I'd like to say I love that version of Crazy Mama but Mick's singing is terrible and Keith poses more than he plays. If you turn off the volume and focus on Keith it is even kind of sad.

Fantastic version of Little Queenie though.

No, no, no!!! Is he reading the lyrics from a book...? For the first time in his life? Sad, sad, sad. This is not worth the money spent on that dvd!

Ronnie is on it. I dunno what Keith is doing. He does that same damn lick again. One would think, dusting off such a kick ass rockin' tune that...they'd kick ass and rock on it. That's almost like a rehearsal!

If there's any money to spend on a DVD..it'd be this one. And no...he's not reading lyrics from a book.

that version of little queenie is one of the single best stones performances I have ever seen. the crowd is going crazy , Mick is really feeding off their energy.. and Keith... he's amazing!

Crazy Mama indeed feels like a rehearsal - so does Shame, I think. But that's kinda nice. Nothing earth-shattering here, but a good nice groove. More appealing than a lot of empty stadium performances, I enjoyed this, thanks!

Little Queenie is GREAT really

The other two songs seem a Rolling Stones tribute band

What's going on here??

Now the Stones ragging is reaching all the way back to the B2B tour??? WTF? To rag on "Shine A LIght" or the Bigger Bang Tour, or even the Licks Tour...whatever...that's questionable....but I thought B2B and beyond that were untouchable?

I'm shocked at the mixed bag of thoughts for this Double Door show...which to me is incredibly great. what's next? Ragging on the VL tour? and then the 81 tour??

The usual ragging on the Stones as of late is expected but I think people are blindly now labeling EVERYTHING the Stones did post 89 as crap.

It is the first liveversion of Crazy Mama I hear, and I really like it. Mick's singing is a bit ironic, but the version is funny, reminds me a bit of Tumbling Dice.

Little Queenie is incredible...Mick is on fire with his passion and energy. This is a classic performance.
