If you want to really get a sense of who the Stones are as people, 25x5 knocks the stuffing out of Shine a Light. Scorcese apparently decided that "up close and personal" with the Stones means a barrage of tight close-ups of Mick's face. T'is a shame. Let's hope someone else can truly shine a light on the band at some point in the future.
