Great hotel at only 135 dollars or so per night,
cheap for NYC - next block to MSG venue,
and much better tha a lot of others "bad repuration"
hotels nearby...
Recommended bars/restaurants
Mustang Harry's. See below.
Meeting place for fans
Mustang Harry's
352 Seventh Avenue (between 29th and 30th Streets)
Great place to meet up.
We have been using it on every tour since 1998.
Longest bar in NYC they say, may be it is true?
Plenty of cold draft beer for any taste.
And they have great food as well.
Mustang Harry's is on the MSG side of 7th avenue,
just 2-3 short street blocks from MSG.
Walters bar :
Located on 8th Avenue between 29th and 30th street.

General
The East Village and the St. Marks Place area are one of the famous
spots Stones fans visit when in New York City. Before going, make sure
you enjoy the Waiting On A Friend video, as found on Video Rewind (see
IORR 32). Mick is waiting for Keith at the stairs of St. Marks Place no.
96 (E. 8th st).
Charlie is sitting on a garbage can by no. 94. Keith is with an unknown
fan in the street. St. Marks Bar and Grill is still there, but the
exteriors are now changed, as it is called Tribe (only open at evenings),
on 132 1st Ave on the
corner of St. Marks Place. Walk in there, and imagine the Stones doing
blues songs after the video shooting. Small place!
Thanks
