Meeting place for fans
Glasgow
central railway station is in the heart of the city centre and numerous bars/restaurants are close at
hand. I would suggest the "Horse Shoe bar" Dury Street as a good meeting place for stones fans, this is a traditional and large
Scottish pub,it is two minutes walk from central station, head north in Renfield street,Drury street is a lane to the left
passed Nobles amusement arcade. Overall the city is safe and friendly, like anywhere else these days it has its drug problem
and this brings associated worries, ie street crime, visitors should be aware but not unduly stressed.
As ever prices of
food/drink will vary depending on the place visited, during the day various pubs will have offers, two for one, happy hour etc.
