QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack Quotekeefriffhards A more honest down to earth review from a guy who actually knows this band/music and their potential. laughable on a lot of levels. I hate how some people call negative opinions "honest" which consequently says that all positive opinions are not honest. Some people just like to spread hate and that has nothing to do with honesty.

Quotesundevil That was awesome. This really shows the rolling stones need to stay small from this point forward. Thanks to social media, 4K camera and Dolby Atmos sound, they can now turn your living room into a small club. Hampton Roads was a pay-per-view, future club shows could be as well. They were super prepared for this show and it's great how fulfilling it is. With Charlie gone, now i

QuoteDorn the live version of Sweet Sounds of Heaven is really great however the Gaga again overdoing it / oversinging here, same as in Jersey 2012. You must not try to outdo the lead singer, especially if you are a guest performer. Back than Keith was really p...off. That's why Gaga and Jagger go so well together. Jagger is always overdoing everything because he's Mick Jagger and th

QuoteSpud It's an old saying . " Live by the sword, die by the sword" It basically means that if you don't behave well towards other folks...you can't expect them to behave well towards you. Stab them...and they'll stab you back ! Thanks!

I can’t say I like it just because Charlie’s on it, or because Mick sings it all so well (he does) or because it’s harks back to Miss You/Dance/Emotional Rescue. It’s still just a bad song. QuoteSpodlumt Mick on the Jimmy Fallon show was incredibly hard to watch. It was so unfunny and Mick was stilted in the delivery of his lines. Awful. I can't believe Mick agreed to do that crap. Well, humour's not the same for everyone. I thought it was hilarious.

So any idea when the professional video of the concert will see the light of day? In the near future as part of the album promotion or in a few months as part of the documentary?

I think what you also need to consider is that young people don't go to the record store and buy an album in a physical format. And the few who buy Vinyl will also order it on the internet. Of course that doesn't change the fact that the Stones fan base is more on the older side but those photos of record stores will show old people only for the reasons just mentioned. As for the

QuoteDoxa Quotebye bye johnny Producer Tony Visconti was invited to the Racket NYC private show. He didn't stick around long enough to see the show, though. What a drag is getting old. - Doxa Wow, that post of Tony Visconti is the most boomer-like boomer thing I read this week. His answers in the comment section are good entertainment as well.

QuoteMonkeyMan2000 Chanel did great on Gimme Shelter in Milan last year. But from what I can tell from the videos of the Racket show I saw, she didn't blend in well with Mick at all. The phrasing is off. Bernard really mastered the way of singing the harmonies by Keith and Mick while also giving Mick something to fall back on in a case of emergency. I saw a clip of Whole Wild World and Cha

Chanel has a stunning voice but it's just too overpowering as a backing vocalist. Sasha blends in nicely with Bernard and Mick.

QuoteBig Al QuoteLondonLee QuoteSpud Puzzles me how folks can listen to a new album a couple of times and feel able to fully assess it in the context of other albums they've been listening to for years. Genuine and unloaded question: Does that also apply to those who are praising the album? That's a fair point, Lee. I've yet to only skim through the Hackney Diamond tracks, so c

They wouldn't have done all the rehearsing just for some corporate event. I think it's almost certain that they will film this show and either use it for promotion or for the upcoming documentary.

Quotepowerage78 QuoteStonedRambler I think Jimmy is an amazing host and hilarious. But you can't translate or explain humor to people. Either it is your kind of humor or it isn't. But lots of people like him so you got to accept that he just might not be your cup of tea. I'm not criticizing his humor, but his tendency to overact is ridiculous. It is rediculous indeed and that m

Quoteslewan that Wyman rumor aside… when did the Rolling Stones perform at a single event for the last time? – I mean a show neither being part of a tour or a warm-up show followed by a tour or a show not following intense reheasals for a tour? They certainly won't perform on live television. But playing an own show they would be having full control of the recording and could edit / overdub if necessary. Mick said in recent interviews he is always practicing and staying in shape. Ronnie always seems so be ready to play gigs with everyone. And Keith was also in great shape at the winos gig last year without extensive rehearsals. So

Quotepowerage78 That's absolutely true for me Mick, but he's not a hard rock singer, he's not Steven Tyler and he's certainly not Brian Johnson. Or I want to hear him sing Back In Black, Thunderstruck or For Those About To Rock. While of course the style of singing is also a factor, even more important is vocal health. Mick quit smoking in his early 30s, took singing les
